Second Chance Salon is a makeover format for those needing a fresh start. In each episode, we meet our salon customers who share their unique, very personal stories and we witness their outer transformation – all during an appointment in a beauty salon. The hairdressers and stylists listen and react to the stories with great empathy whilst they create a completely new look for their customers in each episode. Their new look is symbolic of the new phase in the clients' lives: whether for an upcoming job interview, to celebrate overcoming an illness, or perhaps for some long-overdue self-care. Each customer's story is unique: funny, tragic, beautiful and always touching. At the end of the show, their incredible new look is finally revealed in an emotionally charged moment.
